CrewDash ("CrewDash," "we," "us," or "our") provides job management and invoicing software for contractors and trade businesses. Our service is accessible at crewdash.co. Questions about this policy can be directed to support@crewdash.co.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use the service:

• Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and business name at registration.
• Business data: customer names and contact details, job records, invoice details, and notes you enter into CrewDash.
• Payment data: billing address and payment method details. Card numbers are processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, feature usage, and error logs collected automatically to operate and improve the service.
• Communications: any messages you send us via email or in-app support.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the CrewDash service.
• Process payments and send invoices on your behalf.
• Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, job updates).
• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Improve the service through aggregated, anonymized usage analysis.
• Send product updates and promotional offers where you have opted in or where permitted by law. You may opt out at any time.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with trusted third parties only as necessary to operate the service:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe may collect and store payment method data under their own privacy policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Vercel / Railway — cloud infrastructure and hosting.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can configure your browser to block cookies, but some features of CrewDash may not work correctly without them.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we may retain anonymized usage records for analytical purposes. Payment records may be retained as required by applicable law (typically 7 years).

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Restrict or object to how we process your data.
• Receive a portable copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

9. Children's Privacy

CrewDash is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days in advance.
